Start with Self-Study

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a behavior therapy that is based in skill development. Through learning, practicing and becoming confident in mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance skills, behavior change happens quite readily. DBT skills improve your resilience, help you create new, supportive points of view, better communication and present moment awareness.

Mindfulness Skills teach you how to respond using both your logic and emotions, together, what to do to practice mindfulness, and how to do it.
You’ll also get a glimpse of skills in other perspectives on mindfulness like mindfulness as a spiritual practice, skillful means through mindfulness, finding freedom with mindfulness, contemplative practices, loving-kindness, doing mind vs. being mind, walking the middle path, and how to set intentions. Students can expect to grow in deeply supportive skills for a tuned, present, and more satisfying life.

This course provides assertiveness and interpersonal skills to meet your objectives, maintain and strengthen relationships, and maintain and fortify your self-respect.
You will learn to manage and feel safe in conflict, ask for what you want, know what you need, get that “NO” is a complete sentence, and feel courageous enough to use your “NO” while respecting yourself and others. You will also learn how to accept when you, or others in your life, change and how to end destructive or toxic relationships. One aspect of skillful intimacy is being able to leave with love.

There is no other you. You deserve to be known, loved and accepted. Acceptance is an art (and it’s an inside job). Project: Love, Me is the work of the art of accepting YOU.
You return to your natural, loving state by doing the work to acknowledge everything that you reject in you and around you. Your natural self-love emerges when you fact-check your unloving thoughts, judgments, beliefs and behaviors.
It is a day-to-day, moment-to-moment project and it allows you to be more alive.
